1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of A2B Taxis Norwich’s services. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking and Cancellation

2.1 Booking

  • Bookings can be made via phone, our website, or in person at our Norwich Airport office
  • We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance when possible
  • For immediate bookings, please call our dispatch number

2.2 Cancellation

  • Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel a booking
  • For pre-booked airport transfers, cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time may incur a cancellation fee
  • No-shows may be charged the full fare

3. Fares and Payment

3.1 Fares

  • Fares are calculated based on distance traveled and may include additional charges
  • Airport transfers and certain journeys have fixed prices as listed on our website
  • Additional charges may apply for waiting time, multiple stops, late night/early morning journeys, and holiday service

3.2 Payment

  • Payment can be made by cash or card to the driver at the end of the journey
  • For account customers, payment terms are as agreed in your account agreement
  • All prices include VAT where applicable

4. Service Standards

4.1 Punctuality

  • We strive to arrive at the agreed pickup time
  • For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrivals and adjust pickup times accordingly
  • We recommend allowing extra time for journeys to airports or important appointments

4.2 Vehicle Standards

  • All vehicles are regularly maintained and kept clean
  • Vehicles are non-smoking
  • Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available upon request

5. Passenger Conduct

Passengers must:

  • Wear seatbelts at all times
  • Not consume food or alcoholic beverages in the vehicle
  • Not engage in disruptive behavior
  • Respect the driver and the vehicle

We reserve the right to refuse service to passengers who are abusive, intoxicated, or pose a risk to the driver or vehicle.

6. Luggage and Personal Items

  • Reasonable amounts of luggage can be accommodated
  • Please inform us in advance if you have excess luggage
  • We are not responsible for items left in vehicles, although we will make reasonable efforts to return found items

7. Complaints Procedure

If you are dissatisfied with our service:

  2. Provide details of your journey and the nature of your complaint
  3. We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days

8. Liability

  • We maintain appropriate insurance coverage as required by law
  • Our liability is limited to direct losses caused by our negligence
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure is a result of acts of nature, government actions, war, civil disturbance, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
